WHAT IS CERAKOTE®?
Cerakote® is, simply put, a ceramic polymer coating applied to hard surfaces in order to achieve bold looks and better protection. CeraKote® is available in over 100 unique colors and offers rich, soft and very pleasing aesthetics. Developed by NIC Industries for firearms in the 1980s, the coating provides a heightened level of durability to hard surfaces making it ideal for firearms and related gear. The coating specifically protects against abrasions in addition to delivering corrosion resistance. Other CeraKote® attributes include formulations that are resistant to extreme heat and pressure making it ideal for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications.
